The Santa Fe Community lost another great gentleman, this time in the form of Richard H. Kindig, who has boarded the great Super Chief in the sky on 07 April 2008, in the afternoon. He will be missed, and all of us at QStation.org extended our deepest condolences to his family.

The grading experience of moving all of the QStation.org servers to their new state-of-the-art datacenter, although going smoothly physically, turned out to be an electronic nightmare in the form of an overworked network, and slow server response. Now that all of the bugs have been worked out, we would like to now formally release the Desktop Calendar updates for April. We appreciate everyone's patiences during the time of transition.

The April Edition of Desktop Calendars is now available.

Bill Jones is reaching out to Santa Fe Railway enthusiasts in the Eastern States to let you know about the 14th Annual East Coast Santa Fe Convention. It is a ½ day Friday though all day Sunday event held each year by various host Clubs.

Here are PDF files of the event brochure and of a map to help find the event.
