Hello, my name is Paul Brown, and welcome to my website.

In late 1989, model trains caught my interest again after a 25-year sabbatical. About two years later, I picked up my Pentax Super Program 35mm camera and added prototype photography to my list of interests. Since then, I have been steadily working on my photographic technique, trying to emulate the many excellent railroad photographers who are around now and in years past.

My main interest and enjoyment in railroad photography is derived from combining the power of the prototype with the beauty of the Western United States.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy looking at my pictures as much as I enjoy taking them.
