When Models by Paul receives a model to be completed from a customer, there are
several things done. First the model is test run, in order to make sure it runs
well, if it is a locomotive, to make sure it rolls correctly, if it is a piece of
rolling stock. Any small problems are taken care of at the shop - at no cost to
the customer. If there are any large, glaring problems, the customer is contacted
with a price quote and an inquiry to ask if the repair should be undertaken.
The model itself is stripped down to its single components, and stripped if necessary.
All the parts of the model are carefully, and individually cleaned.
The model is prepped, reassembled, and retested. After certifying it works properly,
the model is expertly painted, decaled, and finished. If the customer wants the model
weathered, this service is available with a small fee.
Upon completion of the project, the customer is contacted when the model is
ready to be shipped.
