BNSF 9840 and BNSF 9720 with train CCRMARN are just west of Bennet in this view. The train is on a downgrade and is braking, which accounts for the dust along the side of the cars. At this point, the hill at Cheney has been conquered, and there are two more big hills left to climb. The Nebraska City branch makes a good chase, as the train can't exceed 35 mph, and the line twists and turns a good deal. Just watch out for those county roads which have missing bridges. |
