The mid-eighties brought some motive power variety to Oceanside, CA, locals as Santa Fe GP20s and GP38s supplemented the usual GP30/35s. Here SPSF merger-painted 3031 and GP30 2755 are spliced by GP38 2336 in this 1986 view at the downtown Oceanside yard. Click here for a photo of the 3031 repainted back to the yellowbonnet scheme.
