Terry Wegmann, the proprietor of the former N&G signal co., has just finished a batch of ATSF T-2 single blade semaphore signals, fully assembled and painted. This never before available in any form (Kit or Assembled) semaphore represents the pinnacle of fidelity to the prototype-it is dead on. With a surprisingly strong ladder and signal man platform (made from photo-etched phosphor bronze, this signal is beyond belief!
With no assurances that there will ever be anymore run, this limited edition should be considered if someone wants to acquire one, and do so now.
Price is $95.00 each, and shipping is $5.00 one or more signals via USPS Priority mail.
The signal has mostly investment cast brass and photoetched materials, including the spectacle blade. Painted, this signal has a 1 1/2 V bulb installed, and the operating rod coming out the base under the layout operated the blade up and down by it's movement. A hardware kit is supplied in helping the buyer to attach this operating rod to a switch machine, such as a tortoise. There are some R/C mini servos (NOT INCLUDED with this signal) in the R/C market which has been developed for use in HO signals, which may interest the buyers who wish to connect to a track sensor and/or a computer interface.
