Early in the BNSF repaint program, photos of the few units repainted in the splendid GN-inspired Heritage I paint scheme were difficult to find. What follows is a guide to those who would like to add standard cab BNSF Heritage I paint schemes to their own model railroad rosters. The pictures are unique as it gives one a chance to view the Heritage I paint scheme on both a safety cab as well as a standard cab locomotive.
